I got a new AC early July and I thought everything went well. I was at work when the technician came but my mother was here. My mother told me the technician replaced the filter, but he removed filter and never replaced it with a new one.Thankfully the new A/C was not used a bunch this summer but I have been using my furnance for about a month without a filter. I guess I'm stupid for not checking. I assumed incorrectly that the technician did a proper job. I can only guess this was done to shorter the life of my furnance. I am extremely unhappy. My initial furance experience with Lincoln was good and why I call for a second time but this 2nd experience has left a sour taste in mouth for lincoln heating and air.

When our A/C Unit went out in the middle of summer, Lincoln was thrilled to come out and provide us a new A/C unit & furnace. (At a almost 20k expense) Before signing, we were promised two portable units until they could come out and get our new unit installed (almost a 2 week wait), but after signing, the portable units were all in use. This did not set the tone nicely, as we had a 3 month old baby & no air. The scheduling of getting this was a bit of a headache, kept getting promised someone would reach out and a week later, we got it on the calendar. The installation was great - the Lincoln team worked 2 long days to get both installed and were very kind. However, they dented our walls & forgot to turn the gas back on in our attic. Leaving us to call them the next day to please come back. Fast forward two months, we need our heater finally and it doesn't work. After investing 20k on our new furnace, you can imagine our frustration. When calling to ask them to come back, they said in order to have a tech come and take a look, it would be a 90 dollar fee and we had to agree to it. Overall - our experience was terrible, I would likely not recommend - unless you want to take off several days of work for them to come back and fix the work.

I arrived to inspect a leak in a hydronic system. There are two hydronic systems, running forced air through a water filled coil for heating. The unit on the right (south unit) is the one with the leak. The duct When I got to the systems, I could see the stain from the water leak. I also saw rusty water on the filter which had been taken out. The filter is directly below the hot water coil, and I could see rust on the bottom of the coil as well, but not the top of the coil. I restored water to the water coils, waited a few minutes, and checked for water. There was water pooling up in between the fins of the coil, around where the rust stains were. It appears that the coil has a leak in between the fins where I cannot fix it, so replacing the coil would be the best option. We could also look into replacing the whole heating side of the system side due to its age (it looks like the system on the left has been replaced already). Either way, the system would need to be fully drained, and

Arrived to perform a furnace and AC maintenance on a rental property, tenant informed me that the AC was excessively noisy and he called for maintenance. I started by running furnace for 15 minutes and observed operation, the furnace did not overheat but the flue temperature and rise were lower than normal, rise at 37 with manufacturer recommending 50-80, and flue temperature at 270 degrees and it should be at around 300-350 degrees. I proceeded with the furnace maintenance by checking inducer and blower motor amp draws, they were within manufacturer specification, however the blower motor is in poor shape, leaking oil and coated in dust from the home. I changed 2 16/20 filters in the blower cabinet, wiped down all furnace surfaces and cleaned flame sensor and burners. The igniter has been replaced at some point and appears to be in decent shape with slight oxidation. Biggest concerns with the furnace at this time would be the blower motor and the furnace running colder than is typical

Came out to preform presidential furnace maintenance. Began by turning on unit and running for 10 minutes to ensure normal operation. After 10 minutes with no issues I was able to confirm no issues. I then began testing furnace components. Tested blower motor amp draw at 3.47 ( max 8,3). Good Tested inducer motor at 1.09 ( rated 1.05). Inducer is over the amp draw slightly. If amp draw gets any higher motor may go out. Will provide estimate in the event customer would like to change motor. Tested pressure switch closing at -.25 ( rated to close at -.27). Good Tested igniter at 50.2 ohms. Good Tested flame sensor at. 2.8 micro amps. Good Tested exhaust temperature at 376°. Good Tested temperature rise at 56°. Temperature rise range is between 35-65°. Good
